Save Our Mangroves Now

I work as an otter conservationist to reverse the decline of mangrove habitats in Vietnam and across the globe to restore biodiversity, protect livelihoods, and mitigate against the impacts of the climate  crisis. Why mangroves matter - Superheroes of biodiversity Survival artists, nature’s kindergarten, climate savers – mangroves are versatile superheroes. They are habitat and nursery for over 3000 fish species, can store 3 to 5 times more carbon per area than tropical upland forests, and provide livelihoods for over 120 million people. But this unique ecosystem is under threat: more than a third of all mangrove forests have disappeared since the mid-20th century due to agriculture, logging, and urbanization. If deforestation rates continue, all mangroves could be lost by the end of this century. How do I protect and conserve mangroves? Our vision is a world in which thriving mangrove habitats exist in harmony with the communities they support. With a focus on Vietnam, the Save Ou...

Rescuing Mangrove Life For Dharma Master Chin Kung

The monks and I sent off the master Chin Kung to nirvana

I went to the fisherman's house this morning to buy sea creatures to release into the mangrove forest in order to pray for the shaman Tinh Khong to reach nirvana in 2022. I purchased hundreds of mudskippers to release into the wild. I had to sail them to a safe haven.

The presence of mudskippers aided my research into the toxicology of the soil. The environment is good where there are a lot of mudskippers. After releasing the mudskippers, I dove to the river's bottom more than 5m deep to collect mud to demonstrate to the fishermen that my swimming ability is limitless, allowing them to safely leave me in the river and go home first.

So I swam more than 7 kilometers back home with merdog Honey, diving to the river's bottom to learn how fishermen set traps to catch fish. I realized that a large number of mangrove trees needed to be planted near the forest in order to limit the destruction of mangroves by fishermen. Electric fishing boats are used by the most dangerous fishermen in this area. They do not mourn the death of any animal, whether it is a baby fish the size of a needle or a pregnant mother. I was so busy releasing sea creatures from morning to night that I forgot to feed Titi. This wild otter visits my home to be fed and protected. It is difficult to feed yourself in the mangrove forest, so this otter is very clever. He ate and slept at my house before returning with his family to the mangrove forest.

I was given 1,000 Buddhist books by Master Toan Hanh

I rescued and released 7 monkeys in a restaurant at the Can Gio mangrove forest

I was loved by a child after doing charity work for a temple

The monks and I said goodbye to Dharma Master Chin Kung

I won't have food for otter Titi if I don't release sea fish every day, because some sea fish suffocate during the release of marine life into the wild. Please subscribe to this YouTube channel if you want to support my work. I'm not sure how long this will last. Because the funds I brought to the mangrove forest are nearly depleted. I've set up Patreon to accept donations, so anyone who wants to support any of my projects can do so there. In addition, I'd like to thank Bodhisattva Tinh Ngoc for donating $70 to help me rescue sea creatures in mangroves.
